Job DutiesGeisinger is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive assessment and care delivery while demonstrating a high level of autonomy and expert skills in the diagnosis and management of patients. 100% Sleep Medicine: Insomnia, sleep apnea, respiratory failure, CPAP/BPAP therapy, etc Outpatient only, with the potential for inpatient consultations/evaluations in the future Perform consultations and establish treatment and follow up plans with patients Collaborate with other health care professionals to identify and resolve patient care issues Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (mix of inpatient and telemedicine visits), no call Potential for some Saturdays (half day) and extended clinic time
Position DetailsGEISINGER COMMUNITY MEDICAL CENTER (GCMC), Scranton, Pa., is an acute care hospital licensed for 297 beds and houses the only Level II Trauma Center in Lackawanna County and Scranton's only neurosurgery program and adult in-patient behavioral health unit. It is also home to comprehensive cardiovascular and orthopaedic services, as well as a broad range of other surgical and radiological services. The campus is affiliated with Geisinger-Mountain View Care Center, Scranton, Pa., a 180-bed long term care facility.
