Audiologist PRN
Your Role :
In your rewarding role as Audiologist, you will evaluate, treat, and counsel patients with hearing and vestibular disorders to improve communication function and postural stability under occasional guidance. Additionally, with approval of leadership, you will initiate collaboration with other health care teams to meet patient care, outcomes, and system improvement objectives. You may also contribute to the clinical education of doctoral students.

Vanderbilt Hearing offers world-class hearing and balance care to patients of all ages. Our clinic, in conjunction with top-ranked academic programs and nationally recognized research labs, provides our patients with the latest techniques and therapies. Our audiologists specialize in providing hearing and balance evaluations, hearing and communication interventions, and hearing loss prevention strategies. We work closely with Otolaryngology and other specialists in our local and regional community to provide comprehensive care and treatment options to our patients. Position Shift :
In this PRN role, you will work day time hours, Monday-Friday, as needed; travel to existing and new satellite locations may also be required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Completes full diagnostic hearing assessments using the appropriate testing method and equipment for the patient type, diagnosis, and reason for referral.
- Formulates and/or implements a treatment plan to address deficits and patient/family areas of concern.
- Completes documentation in a timely manner.
- Provides education/consultation to patient, family, health care team and community.
- Enhances and impacts our knowledge of the nature of communicative and related disorders.
