Kootenai Outpatient Surgery, located in Coeur d’Alene, ID, is hiring a Clinical Manager! This role will direct nursing operations at our expanding Ambulatory Surgery Center! As our Clinical Manager, you will: - Provides a positive and desirable experience for each physician utilizing the facility with a hospitable and caring service for patients, family members, physicians’ office staff, and all other external clients
- Provides for dedicated, competent and well-trained nursing personnel and staff (RN, Certified Scrub Techs, CNAs, Sterile Processing)
- Facilitates value-added, profitable, cost effective services
- Coordinates training and education of clinical staff
- Responsible for clinical regulatory compliance, quality improvement and infection control
- Assists Administrator to create and manage the clinical operating and capital budget
- Assumes administrative responsibilities of the center in absence of the Administrator
Kootenai Outpatient Surgery specializes in an array of procedures that include: - Ear, nose throat surgical procedures (ENT)
- General surgery
- Dental restoration in children and adults
- Orthopedics (knee arthroscopy, shoulder arthroscopy, ACL Surgery)
- Gynecology (hysteroscopy, D&C , tubal ligation, endometrial ablation)
- Ophthalmology (cataracts, strabismus repair)
- Neuro (laminectomy- discectomy)
- Podiatry
- Urology
- Plastic Surgery
To be successful in this role, you will need: - Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
- State of Idaho Registered Nurse or licensure pending as documented by temporary licensure OR current RN licensure from a state participating in the "multistate privilege to practice" compact with Idaho
- Certification in nursing specialty preferred (e.g. Certified Ambulatory Surgery Nurse (CNAMB))
- 3 to 5 years in an ASC setting experience required
- 3 to 5 years supervisory/managerial experience in a surgical setting with an emphasis on knowledge of the operating room required
- Demonstrated leadership, professional communication, organizational and public relations skills required
- ACLS and BLS Required
