Physician (Chief-Urology Section)
The Chief-Urology Section reports to the Associate Chief of Staff, Surgical Service. The section chief is required to manage the Urology Section within Surgical Service at the Central Texas Veterans Health Care Center System. He/she is responsible for managing clinical operations and supervising subordinate staff within the Urology Section. The Urology Section Chief will perform administrative duties, along with surgical procedures in the operating room, procedure room and perform clinical duties within the Urology Clinic. Additional duties include: Reviewing and triaging outpatient and inpatient consultations within the required timeframe for new patients.
