Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (MRI)
This Advanced Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (MRI), position is assigned to the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center, Radiology Service; MRI section. The ADRT has the overall responsibility for monitoring imaging and scheduling compliance. Position is that of a radiologic technologist operating the super conductive Magnetic Resonance Imager (MRI), a highly complex computerized imaging device which employs the use of strong magnetic fields and radio waves to acquire images. Accurately operates a wide variety of imaging equipment to obtain examinations of acceptable quality utilizing the standardized amount of Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) to obtain quality imaging for diagnosis and localization purposes.
