Infectious Disease Physician (Not-To-Exceed 120 Days)
The Infectious Disease/Internal Medicine Physician (MD/DO) is administratively responsible to the Chief of Medicine. Clinical oversight is provided by the collaborating physician, Section Chief, Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease. General duties include, but are not limited to: Clinical practice, supervising and teaching fellows, residents and medical students in he specialties of Infectious Disease/Internal Medicine. Responsible for providing consultation on various forms of infectious disease, both for diagnosis and treatment in the inpatient and outpatient settings. Shares attending call responsibilities with other Infectious Disease/Internal Medicine specialists in covering some nights, weekend and holiday calls as needed.
