This facility is a 498-bed academic community hospital, Level III trauma pediatric emergency department. There are 10 pediatrics beds. In this role you will see medium acuity, a 9% admission rate, and annual volume of 10,000 pediatric patients per year. TeamHealth provides 24-hours of physician coverage per day, and increasing to 30-hours per day due to expansion of the pediatric emergency department.
