This is a full-time position at VA Illiana Health Care System. The Hospitalist is a direct patient care position responsible for carrying out operations of the Hospitalist Section of the Specialty Service. The staff physician reports directly to and collaborates with the Section Chief to determine the mission and objectives of the Section. In addition to clinical matters, the Staff Physician participates in education and training activities within the Service. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
