Physician- Chief of Medical Service
The Chief, Medical Service is responsible for providing leadership in the Department of Medicine in support of delivery of Specialty and Acute Care services for the VA Louisville; and is accountable for ensuring quality and cost-effective care. The position has a strong administrative component; however clinical duties will be required to maintain proficiency. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
