St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor has an excellent full time employment opportunity for a Pediatric physician to join an independently owned two location pediatric practice with staff privileges at St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor located in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  

The compensation package is competitive, the physicians in the practice are highly trained, the practice culture is collaborative, and the practice consistently receives high marks for clinical quality and patient satisfaction. 

Providers have a flexible schedule: full-time is eight patient contact hours per day in a four day work week. The call coverage for this opportunity will be 1:6 and includes urgent sick visits on Saturday mornings. Hospital rounding is provided by Pediatric Hospitalists with newborns being seen in the office within 24 hours of hospital discharge. 

The provider will see 15 to 20 patients on an average day. Thirty minutes is provided for prepubescent well visits and forty-five minutes for adolescents. Complex visits (i.e. behavioral and respiratory) are allotted thirty minutes of patient contact time and fifteen minutes for sick visits. The mid-level providers at this location are extremely accomplished and all primary nursing work is completed by RN's. 

The selected candidate must have outpatient pediatric experience.
