Memorial Healthcare System, one of the largest public healthcare systems in the nation, is seeking a dynamic and charismatic leader for the role of Chief, Breast Cancer Services. This key cancer leadership role includes a team of dedicated breast care professionals, including breast medical oncologists and breast surgical oncologists. Care delivery sites across the network include dedicated breast cancer centers. This is an outstanding breast leadership opportunity for an established and growing program that enjoys a strong reputation in the community, expert breast cancer physicians and state-of-the-art facilities. This leadership position is open to medical oncology and breast surgical oncology candidates.

Qualifications include board eligibility or certification in medical oncology or surgery, fellowship training from an accredited program, and a minimum of five years of experience in a dedicated breast practice or program, including experience in leadership and programmatic development. All candidates should have publications in peer reviewed journals and have presented at regional or national meetings. Clinical research experience as being a principal or co-principal investigator in clinical trials in the area of clinical oncology or breast cancer is also highly desired. Candidates should have a strong interest in working with trainees from Memorial’s ACGME-accredited residency and fellowship programs.

This is a full-time employed position with the multispecialty Memorial Physician Group. The position offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
