Physician (ACOS Surgical Service)
Serves as the Chief, Surgery Service for the Phoenix VA Health Care System (PVAHCS). Reports directly to the Chief of Staff (COS) or Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS). Responsible for setting overall goals for the Service Line that comply and support Veterans Administration (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) and PVAHCS strategic goals and objectives. To qualify for this position, you must meet the basic requirements as well as any additional requirements (if applicable) listed in the job announcement.
