The Division of Hospital Medicine at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) is seeking BC/BE pediatricians for openings for both faculty and non-faculty positions in our expanding hospitalist program. CHLA is a 400-bed freestanding full-service children’s hospital affiliated with the USC Keck School of Medicine. The selected candidates will provide clinical services in a variety of settings which may include daytime hospitalist service, daytime resident service, and night shifts at the main CHLA campus. Candidates who are subspecialty board eligible or board certified in Pediatric Hospital Medicine are preferred. Candidates interested in nocturnist positions are also welcome. Applicants should have an interest in providing inpatient care to a diverse and complex population of patients and have excellent communication and clinical skills. There are opportunities to participate in education with medical students and pediatric residents. The selected applicant will have the opportunity to work collaboratively on projects to improve quality and safety, billing, and medical education. In addition, there are opportunities for participation in throughput, education, administrative, and research initiatives. Applicants will be considered for a faculty appointment at the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California, at a level appropriate for training and experience.
