Baylor Scott and White Health in College Station, TX is seeking a BE/BC interventional radiologist to develop and expand interventional radiology services.

The candidate would join an established and growing division of diagnostic and interventional radiologists, supporting our hospitals and associated facilities in the College Station area.  Current interventional radiology work includes chemoembolization, thermal ablation, vascular access, endovascular (venous and arterial) procedures.   The candidate would be joining a team of well-established and experienced IR physicians employed by Baylor Scott & White who provide the necessary back-up and support needed to continue our mission as a highly integrated multi-specialty group practice. Candidates who aggressively desire to grow and expand a clinically based IR practice with skills encompassing the entire spectrum of interventional radiology are preferred.

Practice Overview

The College Station region is part of the central division of Baylor Scott and White Health, an integrated health system comprised of a multi-specialty group practice employing more than 1400 physicians and research scientists, 14 hospitals and 55 clinics covering 25,000 square miles across Central Texas. 

Founded in 1897, the Scott & White Clinic continues to expand its multispecialty group practice brand of medicine throughout Texas.   The Scott & White Clinic is a component of Baylor Scott & White Healthcare which is the largest non-profit healthcare system in Texas. 

About the radiology practice:

• 80 employed radiologists covering all subspecialties
• One of the oldest, continuous acting radiology departments in the nation-S&W radiology founded in 1912

Position duties and responsibilities

• Interventional Radiology subspecialty training - preferred

Desired professional skills and experience 

• Board certification or board eligible in Interventional Radiology by the American Board of Radiology
• Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
