Position Information:
We are currently seeking physicians interested in joining our expanding team in the Cary region. The WPP OB/GYN group for western Wake county currently has practices in Cary, Holly Springs and Morrisville with anticipated future growth into the Fuquay Varina area . Our group offers personalized treatment and comprehensive services including office based procedures, deliveries and both in and out-patient surgeries and is dedicated to helping women achieve health, balance and well-being in all phases of their lives. Our team currently consists of 9 providers serving 3 locations all dedicated to patients within the fast growing area. We anticipate adding two physicians to our team for an ideal start in summer of 2023. Physician candidates must be currently Board Certified or Board Eligible by an American Medical Specialty Board.

The WakeMed Physician is responsible for providing quality clinical care to patients cared for by their division. The Physician may be responsible for providing teaching and supervision to residents, medical students and/or APPs within their division. The Physician is responsible for appropriate coding and corporate compliance and may be responsible for some general administrative responsibilities of the practice. Physician reports directly to the Director of their assigned division and understands and supports the mission values, and management of WakeMed.

Doctorate Medicine Required

Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Licensed Medical Physician Required - And Board Certification in Area of Practice Preferred

Hours of Work:
M-Thu 7:30 to 5:00; F 7:30 to 2:00

Weekend Requirements:
As Needed

Call Requirements:
every 6th night or less
