DescriptionA postdoctoral position is available in the Rehabilitation and Applied Movement Performance Lab (ReAMP) directed by Dr. Mark Lyle, in the Emory School of Medicine Division of Physical Therapy. Research focus:Our lab is particularly interested in determining how and to what extent proprioceptive feedback from muscle spindles and Golgi tendon organs is modulated to meet unique task demands, and the extent to which the adaptive capacity to modulate proprioceptive feedback is influenced by injuries, aging and rehabilitation strategies (e.g. motor practice, targeted neuromodulation).
