Academic Hospitalist (Nocturnist) The Division of Hospital Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks full-time non-tenure-eligible Academic Hospitalists on the Clinician-Educator track at the rank of Instructor. Responsibilities include cross-coverage, admissions, and medicine consults to subspecialties. This opportunity includes overnight service in Hospital Medicine, Oncology, and Cardiology. Northwestern hospitalists also have many varied opportunities to engage with medical students and residents, quality improvement projects, clinical research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and other scholarly activities. Candidates for this position typically plan to apply to a fellowship in the next 1-3 years.
