Anesthesiologist Assistant (AA) - $75,000 Sign-On Bonus

Location: Select Baylor Scott & White Facilities

JOB SUMMARY:
Masters-prepared Anesthesiologist Assistant working under the supervision of a licensed anesthesiologist. Administers anesthesia protocols and ensures top-quality perioperative patient care. Supervising anesthesiologist remains accountable. ????

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Administer anesthesia with focus on cardiovascular, respiratory, and metabolic health

• Perform advanced airway management including intubation

• Administer anesthetic drugs, vasoactive infusions, and blood products as directed

• Collaborate closely with supervising anesthesiologist during induction, extubation, and unexpected events

• Develop comprehensive patient assessments for anesthetic planning

• Order pre-op evaluations and meds after anesthesiologist consultation

• Initiate/manage multi-parameter monitoring (ASA monitors, arterial/venous lines, etc.)

• Assist with post-op ventilator management and pain control

• ?? Foster a patient-centered care culture

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master?s degree required

• ? Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (AA-C)

• Less than 1 year experience acceptable
