Neuroimaging in Asheville, NC! Partnership-Track Position, Flexible Scheduling

Description 

ARA Health Specialists is seeking a Fellowship Trained Neuroradiologist to join our existing section in beautiful western North Carolina as we experience continued growth and expansion of services.   

Neuroradiology at ARAHS  

• Diagnostic image interpretation: XR, CT, and MRI from both subspecialized, emergency, and general providers. In particular, strong and longstanding relationships with regional neurologists, neurosurgeons, ENT, medical and radiation oncologists, and physiatrists.
• Strong, collaborative 4 member NIR subsection covering the major regional comprehensive stroke center.
• Varied work days in predominantly remote diagnostic neuroradiology shifts (8a-5p, 9a-6p, 12:30p-9:30p), balanced by additional mix of remote and on-site slots covering primarily general and ER/trauma radiology/weekend imaging.
• Position is ~75% remote / 25% on site, with 60-70% dedicated neuroimaging and probable future increased percentages of both.
• Shared section responsibility to attend dedicated weekly Head and Neck and Neuro-oncology interdisciplinary conferences.
• Fluoroscopic interventions (lumbar punctures and myelogram) studies performed by APs.
• Thriving, well organized section dedicated to meeting the needs of patients in Western North Carolina.

Position Details 

• 2-year partnership track; other employment arrangements can be considered
• Approximately 7-9 weekends per year (primarily neuroimaging)
• No overnight call unless desired
• Flexible scheduling allows partners to select their desired amount of vacation and days off.

Our group is a stable, independent, physician-owned multi-specialty practice (64 radiologists, 21 APPs, and 5 vascular surgeons) with a highly engaged leadership team and support staff.
