The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco is seeking Radiologists for a faculty position at UCSF/Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (ZSFG). The selected candidate will be appointed at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Clinical X, In Residence, or HS Clinical series depending on qualifications and interests.
The candidate should demonstrate a commitment to building a strong academic career and to excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research, and is expected to develop a clinical or more basic research program in the area of one's specialty focus. The candidate will supervise trainees and provide outstanding teaching to medical students, residents, and fellows at a top radiology program in the country. The selected candidate will provide clinical services primarily at the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital but may also include clinical work at other UCSF Health and UCSF-affiliated sites.
The position requires an MD degree (or equivalent), ability (or eligibility) to practice medicine in California, and completion of fellowship training in an imaging sub-specialty by the start date of the faculty appointment. Applicants are expected to be board certified (or eligible) by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or be prepared to enter the ABR Alternate Pathway. Applicant must list these qualifications (or if pending) on their CV upon submission.
